A Get Away To the Cold

The past few days we were able to get away to Telluride, CO for a little ski vacation with some good friends, The Davis'. While we were there we had about 30'' of snow--so tons of powder to ski in but it was very cold! The sun finally came out the last day we were there but even then the temperature didn't get above the mid 20s.

This is part of the Villiage. If you look closely at the banner you can see how perfect our timing was in visiting. It ended up not being a big deal but we just thought it was funny that we were there for that one special week.

Valentines Day

Around here we do Valentine's Day as a family holiday. It might sound strange but it is the only holiday where a humorous card is acceptable and actually expected between Vim and I. And a card is all we exchange. We make pizzas as a family and I get little gifts for the kids.

This was Vimmer's first Valentine's Day and his last '1st' holiday. Sad. I know.

In a few weeks he will be one.

William has been consistently asking for a watch- so he was very happy when he got one.

Vimmer wasn't very interested in his gift...I had to stage this picture and put the toy he was playing with in the bag so he would go after it.

But he was very interested in his balloon!

My niece's 2nd birthday party was at the Chuck-E-Cheese place a few weeks ago. I think she had a good time and enjoyed her cake, what do you think? She had a princess crown and medal and everything!  

And ALL of my boys had to play games of course. They loved the flying games.

I think he is really into it. What do you think?

I guess I will let him ride. At least I get to drive!

And don't worry we used tons of hand sanatizer after we were done!
