Yes last week the temperature dropped down to the 70s and 80s during the day, and it was heavenly! It put me in the fall mood, and out came the fall decorations. I love this time of year. October through December is the only real time I 'seasonally decorate' the house. Each year I pick out a few new items and add them to my Fall and Christmas collections. I am not much of a wreath lover, but decided my door needed something. I felt inspired by Thrifty Decor Chick (you got to check her out), to make a wreath. It was really easy...I just bought a grapevine wreath at Hobby Lobby and a bushel of leaves and hot glued them on. I used some ribbon to hang it from the door.
The Halloween Vase is one of my favorites, and was super easy and cheap! I bought the vase for $5 at Home Goods and stuck a candle I already had in it. I filled it with real candy corn and tied a ribbon I bought at Hobby Lobby for 1/2 off around it. I also made the 'BOO' blocks. Super easy and cheap too. I used left over wood in the garage and had Vim cut me some blocks out of it. Then I used some craft paint and painted them black. I picked up this sheet of cute candy corn paper at Hobby Lobby, printed the words 'BOO' on it (since I am unable to free hand). And then Mog Pogged it to the block. I glued some ribbon to the top and Wa-La.
These are just some dollar store pumpkins on some candle holders I had. Cheap and easy but still fun and cute!
Hope you are all having a wonderful start to the fall season and are feeling inspired!

You know how to MODGE PODGE!!?!? What a woman!! I knew you were special! :) Love your decor.
And you say you aren't creative!!!!!
Ummm... yes, I am feeling inspired! WOW- those BOO letters are adorable!!! I am so impressed! So cute.
Okay- those are WAY cool. I love the vase too, except for pretty sure the candy corns would end up 'missing' relatively soon at my house! :0) Amy
It all looks great!! My house on the other hand is BARE!! Just waiting for a sweet daughter to come help me! :)
Love it!!! Very creative. I will be making my own wreath soon. Thanks for sharing!
