Viva Las Vegas!

Last weekend I took my first trip to Las Vegas...the city of lights!

I have to admit that there are a lot of lights and when we were driving back to our house after just getting in, I was thinking how dark the Houston area looked and boring.

One disappointment was the man big light up cowboy that you see in all the movies...he is no longer 'on the street' but under a big canopy...

It seems that the popular thing to do is replicate real life 'wonders' such as the Eiffel Tower, Statue of David, Arch De Triumph, Venice...etc.

And finally Vegas offers the land of being 'on something'...I can only assume that some of the shows in Vegas had to have been created while on drugs. And I am only assuming this is what it looks like to visit that land...

(prior to this show, it was a beautiful water wall and peaceful pond with trees surrounding the area- Then the lights dim and the show begins)

And no we didn't win any money, we thought that it would be better if we donated to the casinos so we could use it as a tax write-off...

Sounds like you all had fun!! Hopefully you had better weather there than here in Texas with all this heat and humidity.
