Just a quick post of Vimmer's first dip in the pool. He didn't get the memo that he IS going to love the water : ) He doesn't have a choice. He actually loves his baths and he liked having his feet in the pool, but he just wasn't too sure about his whole body...In his defence it was a little cold. We will try again soon!
He sat for several minutes with these sunglasses on. Didn't seem to bother him at all!

Offically Boat Season...
So it has probably been boat season for the past few weeks but we hadn't been able to get out on the water until last weekend. Vimmer had his first ride on the boat and slept through most of it! Which I guess is good and means he likes the boat! My hubby has been wanting to try out an 'Air Chair' for a long time now. He finally purchased one last week and was able to get up on it with only a handful of tries. We had some friends of ours, Shannon and Taylor, out on the boat with us and my mom. William got up on the knee board with no problem and after having to sit out last season, wake boarding all came back to me. Yippee! Sun, water, and fun are here!

Happy 6th Birthday to my Baby!
It seems like only yesterday you were being born...now your six! You came into this world giving us all a scare, 6 weeks early. But you were strong, just like you are now and God continued to have his hand upon you. You left the hospital in just 3 days perfectly healthy. Your foot use to fit in the palm off my hand. When I held you, your feet just dangled past my waist. You had me read your favorite book 'Where do Balloons Go?' over and over again. And the only movie you ever wanted to watch was Nemo! From the beginning you have been a picky eater. When we would take your shoes off you would say 'Walkin' around like a bear foot!'. Now your so big. You don't need me to help you get dressed, take a bath, or pour your drink. I love that you still come cuddle with me in the mornings. And I love when you call my name for no reason and say 'Mommy, I love you.' and then go on with whatever you're doing. And finally, my heart swells with joy, when I think about our sweet conversation this last year, when you realized how much Jesus loves you and how he died for all the bad things you have done in your life. Hearing you pray that sweet prayer...words can not describe. William Pierce, I love you and more than anything I want you to be a man who loves God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Happy Birthday sweetie! Just remember, you are never too big to sit on my lap and you will always be my baby!
Here are some pictures from his birthday breakfast (waffles with chocolate syrup!) and his party. For the rest of the pictures, check out Our Pictures!

'Round Here, ain't much sleepin going on!
I am sorry I have fallen behind so much in blogging. As many of you know we have been struggling with a fussy, non sleeping baby. When we took him in for his 2 month appointment the doctor put him on Prevacid thinking he might have a small reflux problem. After trying the medicine for two weeks and trying every remedy known to man (seriously- the crib looks all red neck...we've got one end propped up on soup cans), the doctor confirmed yesterday that we have a colicky baby! Yuck! Not the baby of course but the c-o-l-i-c!
The good news is that it should all pass SOON (Praise the Lord!!) since colic only usually lasts till 3 months old...we are 2 1/2 months old now...so if Vimmer read the manual, we should only have a few more weeks of this left. But knowing my son and my son's daddy I am sure he didn't read the manual- ha! Since I am nursing him, I have had to cut some major things out of my diet. Currently, I am on a TASTEFUL diet of pasta, brown rice, meat, bananas, and apple juice (that is right, no dairy, no veggies, and horror of all horrors no caffeine!). Amazingly enough it seems to be helping out with little guys tummy issues. We still have our moments but not quite as bad. I am going to slowly start adding some foods back in and see if he reacts to any of them (specifically coffee). So please pray he starts being happier and SLEEPING! (Oh and one side note, he is 11 weeks old and weighs 14lbs 5oz-now wonder my arms are getting tired!)
I have so much blogging to catch up on...I promise I will soon be posting about Little Man's 6th birthday! (GASP- yes I am the mother of a 6 yr old, how old does that make me sound!?!?)
One more note- THANK YOU all soooo much who sent emails and made posts about how to eat healthier! I really appreciate it, and as soon as I can start eating veggies and 'normal' food again, I plan on putting some of the ideas into practice!
Chillin' at Little Man's soccer game.

The Story of Tiny Tony
Once upon a time Tiny Tony the baby turtle came to visit us from the pond across the street. We thought he was so tiny and cute that...
we decided to build him a little 'home' with a rock and water. We even caught an earth worm for him to eat.
We thought it was so fun to watch his teeny tiny hands and feet push his little body around in the water.
But then mama realized that this little cute turtle was going to grow into a big snapping turtle so we took him back to his home by the pond.
We said good bye and let him swim off to find his family.
The End.
