Yes I am 22 weeks, a little over half way there! Time is flying by, and I know that with all the holiday fun and business the next few months have in store, the time is just going to go by even quicker. I am starting to get a little anxious that I am not going to get everything done that needs to get done before Vim X II gets here. My husband thinks I am crazy (actually his exact wording was 'silly' which you can imagine didn't go over so well with a hormonal pregnant wife). I know that it may just be the natural 'nesting' mode kicking in, but it is there for a reason, right? I mean, God wouldn't give us this nesting feeling if we didn't need to be 'nesting'...Because I have a feeling this 'feeling' is going to tapper off in a couple months when I start to get larger and slower moving.
Anyway, the baby is perfectly healthy. We went in for our Anatomy check up, where the measure all the body parts. They couldn't get him to move to check out his belly, all he wanted to do was show off his male parts...(he sounds like some other males I know). Everything else (but his belly) looked perfect. He is about 1lb and very active right now. Here is a profile picture, it confirms that he will not have much of a chin...but I don't think he stood much of a chance in the 'chin department' since Vim and I probably have one whole chin between the two of us.
Finally, I am looking for some input. A lot has changed in 5yrs and we are in need of a travel system and other baby gear. The problem is that there are so many to choose from! SO I figured who would know best about strollers, infant car seats and baby gear then those mom's who have used them recently! So, if you have any hands on experiance with the baby gear, let me know what worked for you, what you found most safe and helpful. Because I have no idea. Email me or leave me a comment PLEASE!!

All I know is Vim X II better have some BabyLegs! Google 'em. Because if I didn't get to dress MY boys in them, since they didn't make them way back then, YOUR LITTLE GUY is going to have some. And, Vim X, they are TOO manly! :)
I love the belly pictures! I can't believe you are over halfway! And on the baby gear, there are SO many to pick from. But we have used Graco for about everything due to price and availability of parts and stuff. But I have also heard nothing but good stuff about Peg Perego, MacClaren and Chicco stuff.
Don't know if you've gotten any other input to your question by now (I'm a bit behind in my blog reading), but... when I was looking into travel systems, I went on consumer reports and they tested carseats and said that the best/safest was Graco's SnugRide, so that's what we have. I LOVE the carseats and the stroller. I think you will be surprised at what all has come out in the past 5 years- it's insane the things they have!
